Our story
so far

At the Alpin Farm in Klobenstein, Ritten, an era began that would reinterpret Wagyu: the vision of breeding the legendary cattle in the Alps. On pastures they had never known before, with feed that shapes their distinctive character.


In February 2014, the first purebred Wagyu calf saw the light of day, a moment that made history. From just a few animals, a herd grew that became more extraordinary, more perfect, and more sought-after with each passing year.


Step by step, a brand was created that is now one of the most exclusive Wagyu breeds in Europe. And the miracle continues here: on the Alpin Farm, where it all began and where excellence lives on.

The breeding of Wagyu Südtirol is a true masterpiece of genetic selection. We rely on a strictly controlled selection of the best genetic lines, which are unparalleled in Europe. Only the purest Wagyu animals, which promise the highest quality and unique character, are accepted into our herd.


With a limited number of only 50 to 80 animals per year, we create a rarity that is reflected in every cut. This exclusivity not only guarantees a unique taste experience, but also a connection to the tradition of the most renowned Wagyu breeds. Refined by the Alpine conditions that elevate the meat to a new level.

Our Wagyu cattle graze high up in the unspoiled mountains of South Tyrol – silent guardians of the alpine cultural landscape. Deeply rooted in their homeland, they promote the harmonious interplay of nature, agriculture, and culture.


Our herd lives freely and completely naturally. Calves remain protected at their mothers' sides while the animals spend the summer on lush alpine meadows and roam extensive pastures for the rest of the year. With unparalleled patience and exclusively natural feed, we consciously refrain from any form of intensive fattening.


The complete utilization of each individual animal completes our sustainable concept. A symbol of responsible respect and exquisite appreciation.
